July 6th - Shearwater Marina

It was 58' at 6:30.  No rain last night & some blue sky this morning - hopefully the weather is improving.  We left Troup Narrows at 9am headed to Shearwater.  We did get moorage on the dock this time.  Morris's side tied to us. We both refueled at the gas dock & then moored.  We got to the fuel dock at 10:15 & the marina at 11:00.  

We all did washing/drying at the laundromat here - I just did sheets & towels.  It was very crowded in the laundromat so I had to wait for quite awhile.  I also went to the grocery store here & got a few things & Rod got more scotch & my Pinot Grigio.  

After I showered then I got our flybridge ready so Morris's & Ihrigs could come for happy hour there.  Eventually we went inside our salon as it was getting pretty windy.  We then went to the restaurant for dinner at 6:30.  We also invited another couple from SYC & their friends to join us.  By the time we got back to the boat it was starting to rain again.

Rod also added more water to the boat tonight as did Morris's.
