July 12th - Echo Bay Marina

We are staying here a couple more days.  It poured again all night but this morning there's some blue sky & sun.  We'll see how long it lasts today.  The Captain says it's going to rain all week.  It was 60' this morning.

We're staying through Wed. because Capt. John Creighton, a NASA astronaut, is coming to speak here.  That night will also be a fish & chips dinner.

We both showered thus morning & then today I started 1 more wash on the boat & mid-way the machine stopped twice.  I sent the captain down to look at it & turned out that the machine would not empty the water out.  Once again the captain had to figure out a way to fix the washer so it would empty.  He not only figured out how to make that happen but I can still use my machine 😍😍😍.  He'll order a part when we get home.  It's so nice to have Rod be able to figure out how to fix things!  

It started pouring again at 1pm.  I saw some more things coming into the store before that so went up & bought some peppers, cucumber, tomatoes & blueberries.  They didn't get too much food because they picked up a group of family members & the astronaut.

It poured most of the rest of the day so we just relaxed on the boat.
