July 3rd - Ocean Falls

It rained all night & the wind finally died down this morning.  It was 50' when I got up around 6am.  Rod got a T plumbing fitting for plastic pipe from Jerry when we were at Shearwater.  He installed it this morning & we now have hot water in the salon sink - so nice!  

When Jerry & Tom went to pick up their crab pots they got 20 of them - Carolyn came to see how many we wanted & we decided 2.  

Bill Davis came in around 1pm - he lives in Shelter Bay.  I invited him to come to Morris's boat for happy hour & dinner.  He really appreciated the invite since he's on his own until later in July when his wife, Brenda, joins him.

We had some appetizers with our drinks for happy hour & then had pulled pork on hamburger buns with asparagus for dinner.  Rod, Tom & Jerry walked up to the dam tonight as it finally stopped raining after dinner.  That's the only thing they saw of the ghost town since the weather has been so wet.

I think we're heading to Troup Narrows tomorrow.  Rod's supposed to do some research on that tonight.
