We just extended our stay here for another day so now we'll leave on Mon. Tonight is a potluck dinner - we're going to bake 1 of our Essential Baking Sourdough breads & put garlic butter on it that we bought at Shearwater Marina. This bread (from Costco) was recommended by the woman who gave a provisioning talk at our Grand Banks roundevoux. The bread doesn't need to be refrigerated & lasts for several years. We bought 6 loaves before we left (will be down to 4 after tonight).
Mary Ann Liebert (forgot to mention that she remembers meeting Vanessa & Greg at Henry Island), Cindy McDonald & Ellen Kime came over to see what our bread looked like & also the pasta boat that we got from Amazon. Cindy & Ellen stayed until 2:30 visiting with us. They both remembered when Heather & the girls were at the Cortez Outstation sharing Sienna's cake with every one on the dock.
There are 13 boats here tonight. The potluck dinner was great - salmon, sea bass or halibut, not sure which, several different salads, several rice dishes, 2 types of brownies, cinnamon rolls, cakes and our garlic bread.
