July 31st - SYC Cortez

Didn't get up until 8am this morning & it was 60'.  Lots of boats have already left as the wind has died down.  A lot of people are headed to the Garden Bay Outstation, then hoping to cross the Georgia Straits when it calms down.  By 9:30 there were only 7 boats left here.  By 10am the wind was up to 15 knots so it will be interesting to see if things continue to calm down.

We were down to 4 boats by 10:30 & then 2 smaller boats came in with lots of laundry.  Fortunately I got up to do our sheets before the rush😻 & then did our towels this afternoon.  There are just 12 boats here tonight.  4 boats came & left during the day - mainly to do laundry, get rid of garbage & get ice.

Tonight we had cocktails on the flybridge - no wind & 77'.  A great day!
