July 22nd - Pierre's Echo Bay

It was 58' when I got up around 7am.

Nikki came to get us a little after 11am.  The couple across from us with the Burmese kitten emailed her after we told them about her & said they could come with us.  We decided to look for bears & went to 2 different places - 1 before lunch & Viner Sound (where we tied to a buoy).  We didn't see any unfortunately.  Then we went to 2 different islands to gather food for our stir fry lunch.

We ended up going to a clam shell beach (they're called a midden beach) to have lunch.  It used to be a First Nations island.  There was an amazing cave that had layers & layers of shells.  It represented 1000 years per foot of clam shells.  It was quite something.  We got back about 5:30.

Cocktails then dinner.
