July 1st - Ocean Falls

It was 58' this am.  It just poured last night & winds got up to 27 knots so it was hard to sleep. We decided to stay in Shearwater another night as the winds were at gale warnings this morning.  We also were able to get shore power this morning after a boat left. We just ran it over the bow of Jerry's boat.

I did a load of laundry of my clothes today on the boat.  We went up to the restaurant at the marina for lunch with Morris's & Ihrigs.  It started pouring while we were there & continued most of the day.  Tonight we provided dinner - we brought our corned beef that I make at home every year, quinoa & brown rice with garlic, sauce that I marinate the beef with to put on the quinoa & meat & a 4 bean salad.  Everybody loved it which was great.  We ate again on Morris's boat as Carolyn is allergic to cats.  That way she didn't have to take an allergy pill.
